Playroom Reveal!

Okay ya’ll the playroom is DONE! I avoided finishing this for so dang long…but I put my head down and finished it and I love it.

Quick recap. I did this playroom for the girls before we knew we were having a boy. It’s very pink and needed a little refresh to be a bit more gender neutral. The whole space was pretty beat up (which is the sign of a very loved playroom!). I did decide to keep the DIY Bubble Chandelier in here that I made a while back because I just love it. You can see how I made it here in this blog post.

I painted the entire room Light Salmon by Behr and rebuilt the cabinet doors on here to be more durable and functional for this playroom. You can read more about that whole process here in this blog post!

*P.S. The way I built these cabinet doors is great for any beginner DIY-er. They’re made of MDF and are simple to cut and assemble.

If you remember a while back, I also built this DIY Mouse House in here for Auggie and the kids still love it.

Also, I updated the window cushion in here! My grandma taught me to sew when I was little so I made the cushion cover myself!

I added some updated decor in here and that just about did it! The most perfect whimsical playroom!

Here’s all the decor I used in the Playroom:
