Rugs Around Our House

If you know me, you know I love rugs! They can totally make or break a space. With my rugs, I like to be bold! I wanted to do a little “rug tour” of all the rugs around our home!

Basement Stairway

In our basement stairway, I found a BEAUTIFUL vintage runner. I fell in love with it immediately.

I installed this runner with just carpet tape…no holes in my new wood flooring! You can see how I did it here.

Since the exact rug I have is vintage, I found one that looks almost identical to it. Here it is!

Auggie’s Nursery

For Auggie’s Nursery, I used this Chris Loves Julia x Loloi Briggs Area in Mist and Ivory.

I love how calm this rug is. It keeps the space so cozy and let’s the mural and art on the walls shine. If you want to see the entire nursery, you can see the reveal on this blog post!

Rainie’s Room

This rug is a SHOW STOPPER! I got this Folding Ribbon Rug a while ago and wondered if I’d ever be able to use it. When we decided to redo Rainie’s room, I showed her the rug and she loved it!

I think this rug compliments the color she chose so nicely! It’s so fun! You can see Rainie’s entire room makeover here!

The Hallway

I initially had a different rug picked out for this hallway – but it was way too wide. I was so bummed. But I was so happy when I found the Polly Rug! It perfectly balanced out this hallway that has a lot of action in it.

I have a whole design thought process I use when choosing decor for a makeover. You can see how I chose the Polly Area Rug for this hallway in this blog post!

Our Bedroom

I absolutely love David and I’s bedroom. I think it represents my style exactly – It feels like an absolute retreat to me (especially when peering into the bathroom). And this Loloi Jules Oriental Rug brings the space together perfectly.

The Playroom

The playroom was such a fun project. I color drenched the ENTIRE ROOM PINK! It’s so fun! I chose this geometric Loloi Alice Rug to balance it out with some neutral tones.

Entryway

I got this STUNNING McGee & Co. rug a few years back when it was on sale and I still love it to this day!

Living Room

In the living room I did a little rug layering with this Safavieh Natural Jute rug underneath another rug with a pop of color. The exact rug I bought for this room initially isn’t available anymore – but I found this similar option!

I hope you enjoyed this rug tour!
