The kitchen hallway is DONE! After finishing up the basement bathroom (the last room in the basement🎉), I got tons of messages asking if my house is done. It definitely isn’t. There are some really big spaces in our home that haven’t been renovated yet like our kitchen and the rest of our backyard (Those are in the works!). Before doing anything huge, I decided to do a kitchen hallway makeover!
This hallway was just boring! And if you’ve been following me for a while, you know I strongly believe hallways deserve love and attention too. This hallway looked fine before, it just wasn’t very exciting.
First up, I added trim to the ceiling like I do all around the rest of my house – crown moulding and then picture railing to add some character and dimension. Then I swapped out the old vent cover in here for a custom one on Etsy! You can see that whole process here!
Next up, I installed this peel and stick wallpaper from Lowes X CLJ and I’m in LOVE! This wallpaper was the perfect touch to this space. You can see the full wallpaper tutorial here!
Finally, I built a DIY Peg Ledge for some added storage in here. The full process is in this blog post!
The serotonin boost that this little makeover gives me everyday is unmatched. I should have done this much sooner! This was too easy and looook at how cute it is!
I’m so happy with this! Next up, I’m tackling my dining room. Stay tuned in my stories!
