After finishing the kitchen hallway makeover, it’s time to move my focus over to the dining room. This is a space I’ve already done a makeover on…but over the years it’s become a random collection things and a temporary playroom. It was one of the first rooms I renovated in this house. Time for a dining room refresh! It used to look like this:
Now it is just a random hodge podge of things all around the house. My style has evolved so much and I’m going for a moodier vibe. Sort of like this:
I have so many fun things planned for this space! New paint, new curtains, new light fixtures, new pretty much everything! I’m planning to install some built ins and a bookcase to serve as our bar area. I can’t wait for this space to be functional for us again!
I’ve already sold the table and chairs we had in here previously. We have a couple of fig trees. I have my nanny’s buffet that I inherited from her and I’m actually going to let it go. I’m going to put it into storage and save it for something special.
I think where the buffet was, it would be SO COOL with a big built in book case situation. I’m getting started on that first and I can’t wait!
