Getting so close to being done with this basement bathroom makeover! I left off last painting the floor tile to imitate the inspiration on my mood board. It turned out pretty dang good! Now, time to paint! I’m using Behr’s 2025 Color of the Year, Rumors. It’s a beautiful, dramatic red and I’m so excited to see how it looks. I decided to color drench a bit in here, painting the walls and the vanity the same color.
I’ve honestly never been this excited to paint. When I found out that Rumors was the color, I squealed out loud. There’s never been a more perfect red. But also, it complements the neutral space around this room and the other subtle pops of red I have in the basement. It was meant to be. I can’t wait for you to see it!
Behr paint has the best coverage – I only needed one coat in here. And THIS COLORRRR. I think it’s just perfect. I’m so excited to see the finished product.
Then, I hung up the new mirror in here. I LOVE the look of a pendant light over a vanity.
