The basement bathroom is DONE! I feel like this bathroom is the definition of ✨demure✨. I used Behr’s 2025 Color of the Year, Rumors MQ1-15 to give this bathroom a whole new dramatic look.
The painted tile, vanity conversion, and new fixtures in this bathroom made a huge difference. But the RED steals the show.
It’s the most perfect red I’ve ever seen and it perfectly coordinates with the other red tones I have in my basement. Its deep ruby red tone helps make this room feel like a little jewel box. It was a challenge to not rip out the tile or the bathroom vanity. The fact that I did all of this myself makes me so proud.
I paired Rumors with Nutmeg Frost from Behr’s 2025 Color Trends Palette on the ceiling (pink & red is my favorite combo). I AM SO IN LOVE.

And here it is NOW!! Now that the basement serves as a guest space when we need it, I wanted the bathroom to be beautiful like the rest of the space. It is just perfect.
